Gerard Way and Julien Baker have been confirmed for a viral event next week raising awareness about mental health.
The Unwound & Unplugged show, organised by Sound Mind will take place on March 2 being billed as a ‘benefit concert & panel’ discussion.
Announcing the news on Tuesday (February 23) My Chemical Romance’s frontman, Way, posted on his Instagram account the event aims to “promote a community of support around experiences related to mental health, isolation and the healing power of creativity and connection.
“I know that it’s a really tough time for everyone right now.
“Coming together as a community and speaking openly about mental health is more relevant than ever.”
Joining Way and Baker for the show will be LA artist Deathbyromy and the panel will be hosted by Dr Mike Friedman.
