The designer team behind Greggs jumpers have recently announced a new Christmas range paying tribute to Peaky Blinders to raise money for mental health charities.
If you are a massive fan of the BBC hit drama then you will need one of these in your stocking on December 25.
The design sees a white shirt with a black tie, dark grey waistcoat complete with a gold pocket watch and black overcoat details.
On the back there’s the festive message “have a Blinder” with gold trim and snowflake motifs.
The jumpers have been made by “notjust” who designed the Greggs Christmas woollies in 2017 in reference to the famous high street bakery which to date has raised over £80,000 for good causes.
Matt Clarke, founder of notjust, said: “With the much-anticipated return of the Shelby family to our screens we thought it was time to release this knit for a final limited edition run. The Peaky look has achieved legendary status and we’re making sure that carries over into Christmas. So by order of the Peaky Blinders get your hands on this festive knit and have a blinder!
“To produce one of these premium quality knits in the UK is time-consuming, highly specialised and technically intricate work. Using the latest hi-tech knitting machines, it takes 45 minutes to weave the front and back sections, the sleeves are cut by hand and the collar attached by carefully feeding each jumper into a separate machine – all done by expert craftspeople.
“These jumpers are designed to last and to be worn again year after year, with domestic production keeping carbon emissions to a minimum.”
Fifty per cent of the jumper’s profit will go to mental health charities.
