She’s been dubbed as the most famous model with Downs Syndrome and now Madeline Stuart is setting her sights on the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.
The 21-year-old from Brisbane has already appeared in magazines such as Moda, Marie Claire and Vogue as well as walking the catwalk at this year’s New York Fashion Week.
She told Teen Vogue: 'My plans for the future are to keep changing the way the fashion industry looks at diversity.
'I want to continue modelling… and it's looking like I will have a very busy year next year.'
Madeline’s mother Roseanne told Daily Mail’s FEMAIL: 'It's been both exhilarating and rewarding. Maddy has walked in seven shows here and has shown her own collection 21 Reasons Why which was received with excitement and favour.
'It has been great to see so many international designers embracing Madeline and other models with diversity, be it Down syndrome or transgender... there is a great feeling of unity in New York this year.'
So far Madeline’s career has covered shows for a range on brands such as Femata Couture, Duane Topping and Burning Guitars.
A spokesperson for Topping Designs praised the model saying: 'Having Madeline walk for us is such an honour. She is a shining voice shouting out that beauty is everywhere and in everyone. We are proud to be a part of that message this year.’
