Sophie Morgan investigates the shocking cases of domestic abuse in disabled people for a new Channel 4 documentary.

The film, shown next week as part of the Dispatches series, highlights the lack of support available for vulnerable victims and the challenges they face trying to find support.

In Trapped, Disabled & Abused Morgan visits the only refuge centre run by and for disabled people.

She also speaks to frontline professionals, including healthcare workers and police who admit half their staff would not know where to point a disabled survivor for specialist help.
