Wrestler Hulk Hogan is undergoing the 11th back surgery of his career after he has reportedly been ‘paralysed from the waist down’.

The 69-year-old has rarely spoken about the physical strain he has put his body through over his 35 years in the ring.

But his friend Kurt Angle has said Hogan, real name Terry Bollea, has undergone an unknown procedure where surgeons removed nerves from his back.

Speaking on a recent podcast Angle did not go into detail about the operation and it is not known if the former wrestler will recover feelings in his legs.

Angle said: “He had the nerves cut from his lower body, he can’t feel his lower body. So, he has to use his cane to walk around.

“I thought he was using the cane because he has pain in his back. He doesn’t have any pain, he has nothing at all. He can’t feel anything.”

He continued: “So now he can’t feel his legs. So he has to walk with a cane which is, you know, that’s pretty serious, man.”

Hogan mentioned his medical procedures in 2021, in a previous interview he said: “My knees are fake, hips are fake, back is full of metal and part of my face is full of metal.”
