An A to Z glossary of disabilities

Also known as a Craniosynostosis, Crouzon syndrome is a rare condition which sees the head form into an irregular shape which can cause eye problems, headaches and learning disabilities.

The symptoms can usually be traced back to increased pressure inside the skull.

Depending on the type of Craniosynostosis and which part of the skull is damaged the head will form into different shape.
