An A to Z glossary of disabilities

A club foot is when one or both feet point down and inwards with the sole facing backwards

It’s usually diagnosed after a baby is born although in some cases doctors can tell during pregnancy.

Club foot isn’t painful at an early age but can cause irritation at a later age.

About 1 in 1,000 babies are born with a club foot.
