You are advised to contact the venue before purchasing tickets so the staff can discuss your access requirements as the city hall is an old building dating back to the early 1990s.

The City Hall ticket office is open between 10am – 4pm Monday to Friday.

If the venue is suitable for your requirements please purchase a ticket via authorised outlets before speaking to the venue to arrange a complimentary ticket for your personal assistant.

The box office can be reached via a ramp or five small steps in the foyer. They don’t have a lowered counter, but there is an induction loop.

You can reserve one of the six wheelchair spaces when booking a ticket on a first come, first served basis.

The viewing area is situated in the stalls accessed through the foyer by small steps or a ramp. There’s also level access via College Street.

Assistance dogs are welcome, although please notify the venue before your visit.

If you require assistance accessing the venue you are advised to arrive around 15 minutes before doors open.

There’s an accessible toilet situated in the foyer on ground level which can be opened by a RADAR key which can be arranged by a member of staff if you don’t have one. There are more toilets around the venue.

The bar staff are happy to help if you require any assistance.

The cloakroom staff are happy to help if you require any assistance. The cloakroom is situated on the ground level at an accessible height.

There is a medic room located at the venue, if you need a private area during your stay please speak to a member of staff.

Please be aware strobe lighting may be used during some concerts.

TRAVEL

There are two accessible parking spaces for blue badge holders on Northumberland Road and most parking metres spaces are free if you display your blue badge.
