ACCESS INFO

You can book accessible tickets for the AO Arena on the dedicated line – 0161 950 5229 (open between 10am and 5pm Monday – Friday & 10am and 4pm on Saturdays), completing the online form or by person at the box office open on event days from 4pm to approximately 7.30pm next to the car park in Trinity Way.

The easiest way to reach the arena is by public transport.

If you are arriving by car Blue Badge bays are located in the arena car parks or the Shudgehill Interchange NCP, although you will have to pay. You can pre-book a space though their website to guarantee a bay on the lower floor levels. Please be aware Trinity Way will be closed southbound between Great Ducie Street and Cheetham Hill Road for up to one hour on larger shows

You can arrive by tram, each carriage has a dedicated area for disabled people.

Most of the buses travelling to the venue are accessible, although you are advised to call the customer contact centre on 0161 244 1000

Manchester Airport is approximately ten miles from the arena and is less than an hour by train and tram.

There is a lift at Victoria Station which takes you to the mezzanine level where you can follow signs to the box office.

Being dropped off? The ideal place will be at the Hunts Bank entrance so you can access the Arena via the lift.

To claim a free ticket for your Personal Assistant you need to complete the online Access Form with a copy of your Disability Living Allowance/ Personal Independence Payments, Attendance Allowance, Severely sight impaired card, Recognised Assistance Dog ID card or Credibility Access Card.

The arena provides an Access database which records your details for a free PA ticket, you will be put on the system after being successful applying a PA ticket which will make the booking system quicker for you next time.

Inside the arena you’ll find lowered counters at concession stands.

The Box Office has a lowered counter and a loop system.

Unisex accessible toilets fitted with RADAR keys and a Changing Places toilet.

A hearing loop in the arena bowl, if you wish to use this service please speak to the Accessibility Team when making your booking.

Assistance dogs are permitted at the venue. Please tell the venue if you are bringing an assistance dog before your visit to discuss any requirements.
