Blue Badge holders can park in bays situated on Bow Street and Irving Street. There are also disabled spaces in The Mailbox car park (600 metres from the venue) and the 24 hour NCP car park.
If you require accessible tickets for any events at O2 Academy’s across the country you will need to provide proof of your disability. The simplest way is to register for an Access Card.
Don’t have an Access Card? You can email or post a copy of your Disability Living Allowance, recognised assistance dog card or a similar form of evidence. You won’t receive your copy back in the post but they will be securely destroyed.
If you need a complimentary ticket for your companion – available for people who can provide proof of their disability – please let the venue know at the time of booking.
The box office is sheltered by a canopy, the counters is at accessible height equipped with a microphone, but there isn’t an induction loop.
Limited wheelchair spaces are available on a first come first served basis, please request this service at the time of booking.
There is an accessible toilet on the balcony level which can be opened by a RADAR key and more toilets situated around the venue including O2 Academy 3 Birmingham.
There is a spacious bar situated at O2 Academy Birmingham and O2 Academy2 Birmingham on the balcony with a lowered counter. If you need any assistant please ask a member of staff. There is a small ball in O2 Academy3 Birmingham with a lower service section.
If you need any assistance using the cloakroom please notify a member of staff.
Assistance dogs are welcome in the venue – please let the academy know if you wish to bring one when you make your booking.
There is a medical room situated on the ground floor.
If you wish to use the lift please notify a member of staff who can meet you at the front doors.
There are three venues. The largest is O2 Academy Birmingham situated on the balcony which can be reached by stairs or the lift. There are spaces for seats and six wheelchairs.
O2 Academy2 Birmingham, also situated upstairs, has a viewing area and spaces for seats as well as four wheelchairs.
02 Academy3 Birmingham, situated on the ground floor has no specific viewing area – if you require any assistance please ask a member of staff.
