Most of the exhibition is fully accessible and the professional trained staff – who thankfully aren’t waxworks – will be happy to assist access visitors.
To comply with health and safety regulations only 3 wheelchairs are permitted in the building at any one time.so if you intending to visit in a wheelchair please contact the venue at least 24 hours in advance by calling 033 3321 2001 or completing the online Guest Support form. Please note you will also have to buy a ticket online.
You can hire a wheelchair from the venue free of charge, though they are provided on a first come, first served basis. To book one please call 033 3321 2001.
If you have any of the below your carer is entitled to a complimentary ticket.
Entitlement to Disability Living Allowance for children under 16 or Personal Independent payments for those aged 16-64, either in the form of a letter stating that the benefit has been awarded, or the actual Allowance book
Attendance Allowance or Carer's Allowance letter of award
Incapacity Benefit books, or a letter notifying the recipient that the benefit has been awarded
A Blue badge
In the case of visual impairment, a registration card known as the BD8 or a Certificate of Visual Impairment (CVI).
