If you are travelling by train and have accessible requirements there is a lift and escalator at Shepherd’s Bush Central station but not at Shepherd’s Bush Market.

There is a blue badge parking space in Pennard Road behind the venue and more accessible spaces at Westfield London on Ariel Way, W12.

If you require accessible tickets for any events at O2 Academy’s across the country you will need to provide proof of your disability. The simplest way is to register for an Access Card.

Don’t have an Access Card? You can call the venue between noon and 5pm, Monday to Saturday +44 (0)1865 813 505 or email them before you make your booking if you have any questions before you order your tickets through Ticketmaster.

If you require a complimentary ticket for your companion – available for registered disabled people – please mention this at the time of booking.

The box office does not have a lowered counter so if you need help please ask a member of staff upon your arrival.

There are wheelchair spaces available, although they are limited and served on a first come basis when you make your booking.

Assistance dogs are welcome in the venue – please let the academy know if you wish to bring one when you make your booking.

If you require a ramp or assistance to enter the venue please let the venue know in advance so a member of staff can meet you at the stage door in Rockwood Place. You are advised to arrive 15 minutes before doors open to the public.

If you need a seat please let the venue know in advance. The seats are located in the upper levels and there is a lift from the stage door.

The viewing platform is located in the stalls area.

There is an accessible toilet on the ground floor which can be opened by a RADAR key or a member of staff, more toilets situated around the venue.

If you need any assistance using the cloakroom please notify a member of staff.

The bars do not have lowered counters, although the staff will be happy to assist and the bar in the stalls is situated close to the accessible viewing platform.

There is a medical room situated on the ground floor.

If you need any help purchasing any merchandise please contact a member of staff.

Please be aware strobe lighting may be used during some concerts.


The venue used to be the BBC Television Theatre where classic TV shows such as This Is Your Life, Crackerjack and The Old Grey Whistle Test used to be filmed.
