There are accessible parking spaces in the NCP car park on Arundel Gate.

If you require accessible tickets for any events at O2 Academy’s across the country you will need to provide proof of your disability. The simplest way is to register for an Access Card.

Don’t have an Access Card? You can call the venue between noon and 5pm, Monday to Saturday +44 (0)1865 813 505 or email them before you make your booking if you have any questions before you order your tickets through Ticketmaster.

The box office is situated at the front of the venue with a ramp from street level. There is a lowered counter with a mic and an induction loop.

There are spaces for wheelchairs which are available on a first come first served basis, please contact the venue before you book if you require this facility.

There are three wheelchair spaces on the ground level and three additional chairs.

The balcony, which can be accessed via the lift, has four wheelchair spaces and four additional chairs.

O2 Academy2 Sheffield is situated on the first floor, accessed via the lift, and has two wheelchair spaces and two additional chairs.

There is an accessible toilet in both venues which can be opened by a RADAR key or a member of staff, more toilets situated around the venue.

The bars have lowered counters and the friendly staff will be happy to assist you.

If you need any assistance using the cloakroom please notify a member of staff.

Assistance dogs are welcome in the venue – please let the academy know if you wish to bring one when you make your booking.

There is a medical room situated in the main auditorium

Please be aware strobe lighting may be used during some concerts.


Reverend and the Makers was the first act to play the venue when it opened on 11th April 2008. The band returned in 2012 to record their second live album, Reverend and The Makers Live In Sheffield, at the academy.
