The Brighton Centre offers a wide range of facilities for disabled visitors and all their customer facing staff have attended a disability awareness course.

You are welcome to arrange a visit to look round the venue before you book your tickets.

The closest car parks are Churchill Square Car Park 1 (BN1 2RU), which gives easy access to the venue at the rear.

A second car park is situated at Regency Square (BN1 2FG)

The venue is easy to reach by public transport and a short distance from Brighton Mainline Railway Station, Pool Valley Coach Station, city centre bus stops and taxi ranks.

There are car spaces for Blue Badge holders in West Street and Cannon Place where you can park free of charge with no time limit.

Alternately there is a drop-off area in front of the venue which has double yellow lines where the Grand Hotel Crescent meets Kings Road. Blue Badge holders can park here for up to 3 hours providing you display your clock.

The closest bus stop is outside Churchill Square shopping centre, Western Road approx. 700 metres from the rear entrance.

If you are arriving by train exit the station via the main exit at the front leading to Queens Road which is approx. 950 metres from the venue.

There is step-free access and an accessible lift from the front doors to the main foyer at the front entrance on Kings Road.

There is step-free access and an accessible lift at the rear entrance situated on Russell Road.

There is an accessible lift to take you to the Syndicate Wing on the first floor, if required, from the Russell Road entrance and an accessible ramp.

If you require early entrance before doors open to the venue (not the auditorium) please contact Brighton Centre in advance.

There are accessible lifts which can take you to all floors.

All staircases have handles both sides.

The Box Office and Access Line are open Monday – Friday, Monday to Saturday 10am – 4pm and closed Sundays and Bank Holidays unless there is an event. The Box Office has a low level counter, a push-pad automatic door, large type documents in alternative formats, a magnifying glass and an induction loop.

In Person: The Box Office is situated at the front of the venue on the seafront.

You are advised to contact the venue directly if you require an access ticket.

Induction loops are also operating in Wristband Exchanges, Security and Information Desks.

Low level counters can also be found at the Information Desk and bars around the venue.

Personal Assistants are eligible for a free ticket providing you can provide proof of your disability.

Brighton Centre uses an Access Address Book so the venue can understand the visitor’s requirements.

There are 12 spaces on the raised accessible platform situated on the South Balcony which are usually available for every show. The closest accessible toilet is 25 metres away.

There are 4 accessible spaces in the front row of the West Stalls, although the area is not raised. The closest accessible toilet is 25 metres away.

There are 8 spaces for wheelchair users on the raised accessible platform for standing shows situated in the North West corner which can be reached by stairs or a lift. The closest accessible toilet is 30 metres away.

If you don’t require a space on the accessible platforms but have limited mobility you are advised to book seats at the back of the South Balcony for standing shows or at seated performances at the South or Flat Stalls which have lift access, although apart from the Flat Stalls you will have some steps to climb. You are not advised to book seats in the East and West Balconies.

If you require British Sign Language interpreters, Audio Description, Captioning or a Relaxed Performance please contact the venue at least 6 weeks before the show so they can liaise with the promoter to see if this would be possible.

Accessible toilets are situated in the main venue and the Syndicate Wing.

Staff working at merchandise stands will be happy to help if required.

Assistance dogs are welcome at the venue

There is a changing Places facility located inside the venue. You may take your four-legged companion to your seat or leave them with venue staff who can also provide water bowls.

Please be aware some performances may involve strobe lighting.

The West Bar is usually the quietest and the quietest entrance is the one situated at the rear of the venue on Russell Road.

You are welcome to bring medicines and dietary food and drink if they are needed to control your medical condition. If you are questioned please ask for the Duty Manager.

There is a First Aid Room situated at the venue.
