Please note The Gardens are located under a flightpath and there is often work being carried out around the site so this may cause some distress to visitors with sensory conditions.
The Gardens site are predominantly on a flat surface with tarmac paths.
The Temperate House and Alpine House are wheelchair accessible, although the other glasshouses do not have this facility.
Accessible parking is available at Kew Gardens car park (TW9 3AF) near Brentford Gate free of charge providing you display a valid blue badge. Additional accessible parking is located on the right of the Elizabeth Gate on Kew Green.
Accessible toilets are located around The Gardens with two main facilities situated at Victoria Plaza and White Peaks.
An adult changing facility is situated near Brentford Gate, you will need to provide your own sling. The key can be obtained from the ticket desk at Brentford Gate.
You do not need to pre-book a mobility scooter or wheelchair, if you wish to borrow one please ask upon arrival although these are offered on a first come, first served basis and can be booked in advance if you wish.
Mobility scooters are not suitable for driving on the grass.
