If you can provide proof of any of the following documents you are entitled to bring one personal assistant to LEGOLAND free of charge.
- Entitlement to Disability Living Allowance for children under 16 or DLA/Personal Independent Payments (PIP) for those aged 16-64
- Attendance Allowance or Carer's Allowance letter of award
- Incapacity Benefit books, or a letter notifying the recipient that the benefit has been awarded Incapacity Benefit or Employment and Support Allowance (ESA)
- A valid Blue Badge
- A registration card known as the BD8 or a Certificate of Visual Impairment (CVI)
- A local authority registration document which is local to the attraction where it is being submitted
- A recognised Assistance Dog ID Card

If a disabled guest requires another person to assist them around the park they can request an extra free ticket providing they can show evidence of a letter from their GP or school explaining why they need a second carer.

Accessible parking is situated in the main car park which operate on a first come, first served basis reserved for blue badge holders only although all cars must pay for parking when they exit.
Assistance dogs are welcome in the park, although for obvious reasons not on the rides. No dog must be left unattended in the park at any time so whilst you are on a ride they must be left with another member in your party.
Accessible toilets are located around the park and can be found with ease using the LEGOLAND Windsor App. You will find a ‘Changing Places’ situated in Heartlake City with a hoist and a plinth. You will need a RADAR key to use this facilities, if you do not have one they can be hired from Guest Services.
Guest Services is situated in The Beginning, here you will find a helpful team who can provide advice on the accessible facilities around the park, collection of Ride Access Passes, height measuring, wheelchair access, entrance to the Sensory Space, RADAR key hire and lost property.
First Aid is located in Heartlake City which provides a fridge to store medication.
Wheelchair hire operates on a first come, first served basis and requires a £50 deposit. Some paths around the park can be quite steep but can be avoided if you jump on-board the Hill Train. If the train is not in operation please speak to a member of the Attractions team or a staff member at Guest Services in The Beginning or First Aid located in Heartlake City.
For adults, aged 18 or over, there are a limited number of Mobility Scooters for hire from The Beginning or you can pre-book xxxxxx for £25 and an extra £25 deposit charge. You can also make enquires at the LEGO® Store.
For very young children pushchairs and buggies (double and single) can be hired for £15/£10 from the LEGO® Store, although these cannot be pre-booked.
Legoland offers a virtual queuing system through the Ride Access Pass system for guests with a physical disability or a condition which prevents them standing for a long period of time and guests who do not the concept of queuing.
The Ride Access Pass system places guests in a ‘virtual queue’ operated on a smartphone. To use the system guests select the ride they wish to go on and make their way immediately to the Ride Access Pass entrance where a team member will scan the QR code from the phone. Whist on the ride the QR code countdowns the current queuing time for the ride, when the timer reaches zero you may select the next ride you wish to go on.
You may have to wait using the Ride Access Pass system as Reserve & Ride guests will take priority and only one non-ambulant disabled guest can ride at one time in line with the park’s emergency procedures.
You only need to register once for a Ride Access Pass which operates at LEGOLAND Windsor Resort, Thorpe Park Resort, Chessington World of Adventures Resort and Alton Towers Resort for 2 years.
To qualify for a Ride Access Pass you must provide evidence of one of the below.
Disability Living Allowance or Attendance Allowance award letter (dated within the last 24 months) showing that you receive the higher rate mobility component.
Personal Independence Payment letter (dated within the last 24 months) showing that you receive enhanced mobility component.
A current and valid Blue Badge.
A current and valid Access Card including the queueing logo on it. These cards are available here.
If you believe you are entitled to a Ride Access Pass but do not fit in any of the above categories please provide evidence from a GP, Consultant, Nurse or BUPA Healthcare Advisor with photo ID of the named recipient.
Ride Access Passes are not handed out to people with hearing loss or vision loss unless they receive higher rate DLA, enhanced PIP or a letter from a professional body. Although these guests are advised to speak to Guest Services for advice so they can identify their needs.
A Ride Access Pass holder must ride with at least one carer aged 14 or over who help them on and off the attraction.
Ride Access Pass holders may be eligible to bring up to three carers on a ride depending on the level of support they require, one carer must be aged 14 or over, although on ground level rides and children rides a carer under the age of 14 may be allowed to ride if a carer 14 or over is in close proximity.
Please note ride operators are not permitted to help guests on or off rides.
LEGOLAND Windsor Resort also has a Sensory Space located in Heartlake City which provides a quiet, safe place for guests with additional sensory needs.
Up to four families can visit the Sensory Space at one time.
Please do not use mobile phones or eat, drink nor shout in the Sensory Space.
If you cannot access the Sensory Space you will find quieter areas at the Enchanted Forest in Pirates Shores, Miniland, The boardwalk outside the hotels and The Model Maker Studio.

Each ride has its own level of restriction, so please bear in mind some rides may not be suitable for every guest with a disability.

All rooms have Double Beds, Bunk Beds, Pull alarm cords in both the bathroom and bedroom, Handrails in the bathroom, Widened doorways and Lowered fixtures/fittings.
All LEGOLAND Windsor Resort hotels have lifts in their receptions and all restaurants, bars, shops, accessible toilets in the pubic area and games rooms are also accessible by the lifts.
Accessible and Guide Dogs are welcome in the hotels, although please notify staff in advance if you wish to bring a dog during your stay.
A limited number of wheelchairs are available to hire from Guest Services or the Sensory Space on a first come, first served basis for a £50 refundable deposit, or you can bring you own. Hotels do offer a charging point for mobility scooters, although please notify staff if you wish to use this service.
Portable induction loops which can be used around the hotels are available from hotel receptions. Vibrating pagers are also available for gusts with hearing loss from hotel receptions which will notify guests in the event of fire alarms or emergencies.
If you have any special dietary requirements please inform the hotels before your stay.
The hotels are 5 minutes’ walk from the theme park.
