ACCESS INFO
There are a limited number accessible parking bays which are available free of charge if you can display a blue badge.
Disabled visitors who can show proof of an Access Card +!, a ‘plus one’ travel card or a letter from Disability Living Allowance/ Personal Independent Payment are entitled to bring a personal assistant free of charge.
Please note during the COVID-19 pandemic everyone is required to book online.
Most of the zoo is accessible for wheelchairs although in some areas you will find steep slopes and steps.
There is a mobility vehicle service although please be aware seating is limited.
Wheelchairs are available for hire from the main entrance for a £10 deposit.
Assistance dogs are permitted in the zoo provided they are fully trained and accredited, please bring proof of accreditation when you arrive. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times and not allowed to defecate anywhere in the park, if they do the mess must be cleared up immediately by their owners. Dogs are not permitted indoors or any of the walkthrough areas. If your dog is causing distress to any of the animals please move away from the compound as soon as possible.
