East Princes Street
The East Princes Street Gardens is fully accessible from Princes Street and Waverley Bridge. Accessible entrances are located through the galleries and Waverley Bridge - please make yourself known to a member of staff should you wish to use one of these facilities.
At off-peak times (weekdays) all the gates are open and have level access.
An accessible toilet is situated at the Mount Precinct - please ask a member of staff for the key.
There is a changing room toilet situated in The Booking Office Pub on Waverley Bridge.
The Forth 1 Big Wheel viewing pods are designed to accommodate manual wheelchairs.
Free accessible parking is available for East Princes Street Gardens on Frederick Street, George Street, Hanover Street and Waterloo Place - providing you are a blue badge holder.
Sensory Backpacks can be collected (and returned) at the East Princes Street Gardens information point. They come in adult and children sizes and contain a fidget toy, earplugs, water bottle, stress reliever and ear defenders.
Santa Land - West Princes Street Gardens
Santa Land is fully accessible.
Accessible toilets are situated next to the entrance to the ride area. Additional accessible toilets are located at the top level behind the playground in West Princes Street Gardens.
The Christmas Tree Maze is accessible for wheelchairs.
Free accessible parking is available for Santa Land on Frederick Street, George Street, Hanover Street and King’s Stable Road - providing you are a blue badge holder.
George Street
George Street is fully accessible from pavement level.
Accessible toilets are situated next to Lidl on Ice at the west end of George Street opposite Charlotte Square - please ask a member of staff if you wish to use this facility.
George Street walkways are as accessible as possible, although some ramps are steeper than 1:12 due to the nature of the attraction.
Wheelchairs are permitted on Lidl on Ice - please ask a member of staff for assistance.
