A 19-year-old teenager stabled her younger disabled sister Helen (pictured above), 14, to death whilst the girls’ parents were asleep in the other room at their family house in Lancaster, Pennsylvania on Monday.
Clare Miller phoned the police moments after the murder telling officers ‘I stabbed my sister’
When the emergency services arrived at the scene they found a knife sticking out from Helen’s neck and a pillow placed over her face soaked with blood.
Locals claimed Helen was confined to a wheelchair, others believed the child was non-verbal.
Police also found blood on the driveway indicating Miller attempted to wash herself off in the snow.
No motive has been given to why Helen was killed by her sister.
Clare Miller is being held in Lancaster County Prison and is due back in court on March 26.
