A disabled comedian has made headlines once again after being verbally abused on a train pulling into Nottingham station.
Tanyalee Davis – who has a form of dwarfism – complained to a mother whose children were dropping rubbish around her mobility scooter.
As the argument became heated Davis started to record the incident on her phone.
In the footage one of the kids asks Tanyalee to stop filming in which she replies, "Well, don't throw stuff on the floor and kick it on my scooter," and calls the kid “obnoxious.”
Defending her children the mother refers to the comedian as a child molester saying: "It's classed as paedophile [sic] when you record other people's children. My concern is you're recording children, my children."
The mum then calls Tanyalee a “paedophile bitch” and starts recording her as she warns the comedian, "You're going on YouTube, you're going on Facebook, you're going on Instagram, you're going on Snapchat."
Last Sunday (2nd September) the comedian uploaded the video on YouTube saying one of the children was reading a text she was writing and she was relieved when the family left the train.
Davis told NottinghamshireLive: "This girl ended yelling over her brothers and sisters who were cued up to get off at Nottingham saying I called them abnormal. She then started calling me names to which I turned on the video cuz I could see this escalating.
"She then proceeded to drop trash on the floor at kick it at my scooter. She continued making fun of my hands and legs while her little brothers gave me the finger.
"Their mother who had been in a different carriage the whole time pounced in calling me a paedophile and started recording me saying she was going to call the police.
"She made rude gestures to me as a family member grabbed her. The family then stood on the platform making rude gestures."
It’s the third time within a few weeks Tanyalee Davis has faced difficulties in public after being humiliated on a train and RyanAir losing a vital part of her mobility scooter.
Tanyalee Davis is Canadian and received her US citizenship in 2010.
