Amputee posts parking confrontation on TikTok

A woman in Sydney, Australia was challenged by an amputee in McDonalds after she asked him why he parked in an accessible bay.

She was probably unaware not only has Paniora Nukunuku has just one leg but he is also a social media influencer.

He was confronted by the woman whilst sitting in his car and recorded the incident for his followers on TikTok.

'Obviously you can't see my disability if I'm in the car, so please tell me why this old lady thought it would be a great idea to approach me and knock on my window and demand to know whether this is mine or not?' Nukunuku asks in the clip.

He then follows the woman into the restaurant when he shows her his missing leg.

She tells him she ‘desperately needs it and that there were times…’ but Paniora cuts her off.

He replies: 'Is it because I don't look disabled? Is it because I don't look old that you want to approach me?’

Nukunuku asked McDonalds if they could share the CCTV footage of the confrontation, but the fast food chain explained they could only release surveillance film if requested by police.

Some of his social media followers challenged him why he needed the film.

One person wrote: 'I'm confused as to why you need the footage? It's happened, you've reacted, we've learned from the lady's mistakes. Time to move on.’

Paniora Nukunuku has over 158,000 followers on TikTok.
