It has just been announced by the North Pole publicity team Santa is making a slight detour this Christmas so he can pay an extra special visit to raise money for a charity which supports people with disabilities.
Santa will be riding into Otley and Grundisburgh on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day delivering presents to local children with Tia the horse whilst Rudolph helps the elves back at base ready for the big night itself.
The idea of this festive event came from Emma Burrows from Ipswich who launched the charitable initiative last year.
Mrs Burrows, 28, who will have the honour riding with Santa through the area, told East Anglian Daily Times: "We started it last year just to spread a bit of Christmas cheer and put smiles on faces.
"The delivery is available for any ages, children or adults, everyone enjoys it."
The event will raise money for Woodbridge branch of Riding for the Disabled.
Burrows added: "I know that Tia brings me so much joy and gives me a reason to get up in the morning and I know how much horses can give to the disabled and those with learning difficulties."
