Mobile phones have enveloped incredibly since the days portrayed from Dom Jolly's Trigger Happy TV. Once huge devices hiding half of your face, today mobiles can replace digital cameras at a stretch and are a certainly to be found at rock concerts, parties and now, executions!

Saddam Hussein was hanged a few days after Crimbo and some bright spark managed to capture this glorified event on his mobile and posted it on YouTube. We managed to find it last night and couldn't believe our eyes. The film is amazing and although a tad grainy shows Saddam's last few minutes in an errie surrounding. It even has sound! Although as you can imagine, the footage has caused a wave on controversial outbursts and also fears for the guy who made the film.

Amongst those expressing their disgust against the leaked film were the deputy Prime Minister, John Prescott who classed the footage as unacceptable and the Vatican who labeled it as a 'spectacle' violating human rights.

We don't normally review films on ABLE2 but this masterpiece is too good to be overlooked. The film shows Saddam just before the floor drops to take him to his death and you can here some audience member shouting 'To Hell' in the background. After a few seconds of blank screen you can watch Saddam flinging through the trapdoor and even the expression on his face in his dying seconds.

Another bloke who isn't too pleased with this screening is Iraqi PM, Nouri al-Maliki who has started a hunt for the person who leaked the footage online.

Fatboy John Prescott added, "Frankly, to get the kind of recorded messages coming out is totally unacceptable and I think whoever is involved and responsible for it should be ashamed of themselves."

What is even more sick is that some websites are actually making light of this inhumane incident and even printing the URL (http://youtube.com/results?search_query=saddam%2C+hanging) where the film can be seen! Then advising sick viewers they must either be 18 or over or lie about their date of birth when signing up to Youtube (any year before 1978 should do the trick!).
