A couple of weeks ago we covered a story about the future of Hammersmith Palais. The building's future was in jeopardy and the plans have now been finalized. It's good news - if you work as a bulldozer driver, not so good if you are working on the NME Awards. As on March 1st Hammersmith Palais will host the Awards before being knocked down.

On a lighter note the nominations have just been announced and here they are in their splendid glory. There was no launch party, just a posting on NME.COM. Well we think there wasn't a party. If there was we weren't bloody invited...
