A new website has recently been launched raising awareness towards the barriers disabled passengers may face when they travel by air.

For most people the first visit to an airport can be a daunting task, but if you require special requirements the experience can be very stressful.

Roberto Castiglioni is a father to a disabled son, so he has had firsthand experience of the difficulties those with physical limitations face at airports across the world.

The Reduced Mobility Rights website publishes exclusive articles relating to air travel and campaigns for the right for everyone to be able to travel. The site focuses on PRM, which stands for People with Reduced Mobility and gives expert advice on how to raise a complaint should you believe somebody’s right to travel has been infringed.

Launched last Monday (5 September) RMR already includes some great articles which include a blog, an online petition and a comprehensive guide to your rights to travel.

One of their recent articles gives Belfast Airport’s website first class accommodation in comparison to the Heathrow online facilities.

Away from the disability information the site also covers snippets from the entertainment world and politic news.

So, fasten your seatbelts, put your comfy chair to an upward position and jet off to www.reducedmobility.eu for all your travel questions to be answered.

We wish you pleasant journey!
