The London Underground can be a nightmare at the best of times, but if you are in a wheelchair or a bit unsteady on your feet finding your way under the streets of London can be extremely tricky. If you live in the Capital don’t forget you can apply for a Freedom Card offering you free transport on buses as well the tube.

We expect this map showing you appropriate stations with wheelchair facilities will be familiar with you if you live in London, but for those of you who don’t have to worry about polluted smoke every time you venture outside it may come in useful if you are planning a trip to visit the Queen/ check out Madam Tussauds or participate in another protest as soon as Cameron starts a sentence with the words ‘disability’ and ‘benefits’.
