Headlined over the next three days the event boasts headline acts such as The Back Eyed Peas, Chemical Brothers and Pulp. But it isn’t just the music the promoters can pat themselves on the backs for as the disabled facilities are pretty blooming good as well.
First of all there’s limited car parking for Blue Badge holders in the Triangle car park, situated next to the Serpentine Bridge. There are also a few random disabled spaces around Hyde Park and a paying car park on Park Lane.
Because the site is on a park be prepared for a few uneven grounds, but once inside the arena itself disabled guests and their +1 can have a splendid view of the stage on the spacious and tiered viewing platform, entrance to this can be found at Gate X5. Also, here’s a little tip for you, immediately behind the platform is the VIP Grandstand so keep an eye out for the odd celebrity making an appearance over the weekend. If the platform becomes too busy your guest maybe asked to leave if the circumstances are possible. You will also find viewing platforms on the second and third stages and accessible loos will be located to reasonably close perimeters.
