You just can't escape Martin, Aston, Orstise and JB lately, for those of you who aren't 'down with the kids' the quartet are better known as JLS.

The lads were in the news again this week as they paid a visit to the University College London Hospital to meet patients in the Teenage Cancer Trust ward.

Nineteen year old Gurpreet Bhanya has planned to return to Uni straight after she gets the 'all-clear'

"Meeting JLS was awesome." she said," We spoke about my studies and my treatment. They were really lovely and caring."

Another lucky patient was fourteen year old, Billy Gilbody.

"They spent a lot of time talking to me and were really interested in what I had to say. They really cheered me up." said Bill after meeting the band at his bedside.

Speaking on behalf of the rest of the band, Orstise remarked after meeting the sick kids, "We saw some brave, incredible children who all shared the same positive, courageous spirit. It really made us appreciate life so much."

JLS play the Teenage Cancer Trust concert this Sunday at the Albert Hall. The series kicked off last night with Them Crooked Vultures. After the show drummer Dave Grohl took time out to meet a very special wheelchair-bound fan of the band backstage before joining the VIP's for a few drinks in the bar.

Earlier in the evening Roger Daltrey CBE, patron of Teenage Cancer Trust shared with the audience members that the nine-date series of this weeks concerts were booked at The Albert Hall ten years ago to ensure that the tenth anniversary was given the celebration it deserves.

Stay tuned to ABLE2 as we will be keeping you up-to-date with the concerts and juicy details on any backstage shenanigans.
