2012 is already looking to be an extremely good year for live music, over the past twenty four hours The Queen of Pop (Madonna) has announced a concert in Hyde Park, The Queen herself has announced a huge concert in ones back garden to celebrate her jubilee and HRH Lady Gaga is to reveal her world tour later today.

One organisation which will keep you up to date with all the latest music news including festival announcements and tours is Festivals for All.

If you aren’t already one of their 1,959 followers we suggest you add them to your Twitter account sharpish – we wouldn’t mind betting they would have reached two thousand followers by the time you have read this article.

A representative from Festivals for All managed to take time out from their busy gig-going schedule to write a few paragraphs for ABLE2UK describing the work they carry out...

“Here in the Festivals For All office we are passionate about all things festival and live music related. We are just ordinary punters who for many years have noticed that the current information available to music goers was sadly lacking in the things you really want, and need, to know. Back in 2010 a small group of family and friends decided to do something about it - and the idea for Festivals For All (FFA) was born.

Our aim is provide music lovers with a web site containing all the information you could ever require to browse, select, book, and organise a visit to a live event; whether you are a novice or an experienced festival goer. We hope that Festivals For All deliver a unique UK music festival and live music event web portal which provides information on all UK music live events irrespective of genre, size or location.

We have tried to focus on areas sadly neglected by the current market such as Green and Disability issues, whilst also providing a one-stop shop to give you a single web site where you can make an informed choice on all things live music related. Our goal is one of presenting a true live music portal providing a single location where you can centralise ALL you requirements for information, tickets, and merchandising.

In the future our aim is to provide an expanded range of services to event organisers too, to improve back office processes and efficiencies.

To assist in the funding of this web site, we would gratefully appreciate if you would consider clicking through to the various ticketing agencies and merchants to make your purchases, and hopefully using FFA as home for all your live music requirements.”

You can check out their website at festivalsforall.com and follow them on twitter, @festivalsforall – who knows what other live concerts will be announced in the UK this summer!
