Over in the States the headline news is the reflection of the present mid-term election. With Bush in power it is still difficult to know what the Yanks actually think of him. Worshipped or bloody loathed the power freak madman was the President of a Republican run country, but that is likely to change. For the first time in 12 years the Democratic Party has thrashed the opposition. Leading up to the Election night the Republican Party focused on their concern over security in their country whilst the Democratic Party concentrated on how cheesed off the voter's were during the war on Iraq. At the time of this very article being written the Democrat's had wiped 16 seats from the Republicans. The good news is that the results could make Bush's future that little more difficult. The President is making a speech this week and is expected to give hints whether he will comprise with the new leaders or fight them. Which let face it he loves any excuse for a good old war. With the new leaders winning their powerful position for speaking out against the Iraq war George Bush has a new enemy to face. Could this be the start of ending his President reign? Time
