LOVELY JUBBLY Peter Jackson attends the party for 'The Lovely Bones' Royal Premiere Published: 24th November Venue: Aqua // Time: 10.30pm // Occasion: After show party for 'The Lovely Bones' Premiere. It's 10.32pm and we are on our way to the after-life. Yet we are now, at this precise moment, exactly between earth level and heaven. Gods kingdom awaits us on the fifth floor and two and a half floors down are the streets of Soho. Oh, hang on...You haven't a clue what we are going on about have you? It isn't 29th January yet is it? Meaning that you probably haven't watched Mark Whalberg's new thriller 'The Lovely Bones'. The movie, based on Alice Sebold's 2002 novel, tells the tale of young Susie Salmon, A fourteen year old girl who is the victim of a serial paedophile. The child molester turns out to be a neighbour. After her death Susie finds herself encapsulated in her own personalised heaven trying to control her father’s revenge back on earth. It isn't until Susie can find complacent that she can move on to the gates of Heaven. OK, so now do you understand what we were getting at? Probably not, let's face it most of our readers have learning difficulties anyway and this article have probably left them a million times more confused then learning their ABC. But, those of you who are still following us come up to the top floor of Aqua, a posh restaurant in Soho and enjoy the after show party for The Lovely Bones Premiere. Just a few moments ago the wearers of these penguin suits you see before you could be seen walking up the red carpet in Leicester Square with members of the cast, Saorise Ronan (Susie), Susan Sarandon (Grandma Lynn), Rose McIver (Lindsey Salmon) and Carolyn Dando (Ruth Connors) who were joined by the films director Peter Jackson. The five stars were met by Prince Charles and Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall at the Odeon cinema. Safely tucked away in the VIP area celebrating a friend’s birthday, we figured this celebration out by the huge chocolate cake being taken into Mr. Jackson's inner circle. The other guests enjoyed the free bars and canapés two rooms had to offer. With brie on toast and canapés of mash potato being laid on in the Scottish room the Japanese area treated guest to a Sushi table and various other delights to whet ones appetite. It's 1am our carriage has arrived - Well, a Black Cab to be precise, and we are reincarnated back to our normal boring selves to make our way through hell hole which more commonly refereed to as London traffic!
