AGAINST MUMMY'S WORD

Back in March we covered a story about a young mother called Maria Melinn.

Melinn had attended court on two occasions, once over a case involving a family member paying for a packet of fags when they owed money to the Government and a second, more recent case for refusing to cough up the cash for her daughter's child support.

We were led to believe that Mariah had a medically diagnosed disability, hence why the article found its way onto the pages of ABLE2.

Today ABLE2 has exclusively received an email from Maria's daughter, Hannah who wishes to put across her side of the story. For libel reasons, as we don't fancy following in her mothers court-ridden footsteps, we must point out that we do not agree or disagree with Hannah's response. Although if push came to shove, we would take Hannah's side any day of the week!

Here's Hannah's message...

In response to your article, I wish for the truth to come out. As the daughter of Miss Melinn, I know much of the truth and I wish for you to also understand. I wish for you to understand that Maria is in fact not disabled, and has claimed to be hurt by her husband for ten years now, and somehow has still not managed to recover. She was forced to work so she can pay for child support, which she is far in debt in. She now has an apartment and is getting money from men she dates. She still smokes, against court order. She owns kittens and manages to take care of them fine, but can’t pay child support to help her own children. I hope you know and understand things from my point of view and understand that she may not always respond in a truthful way, but I think you should know the truth.
