Backstage with Eminem at T in the Park.

By now you have probably read the kerfuffle Eminem caused backstage at last weekends T in the Park. Most of these articles came from journalists caged up in the onsite Media Village.

However, there was at least one publication right in the middle of the action just yards away from Eminem's dressing room. Yep, you guessed it - ABLE2!

The headliner was given his on marquee as opposed to a portacabin dressing room, a yearly fixture which is pretty common at any festival's artist village. Muse had the luxurious changing room on the Friday and, despite being a second headline act, Jay Z was given the Barbra Streisand treatment on Sunday.

The marquee has a separate exit which allows the artist/ band to take a short walk across the pathway directly to the stage.

Eminem however demanded a double-decker coach to drive him just a few yards to the main stage. He also requested barriers to avoid anybody coming into contact with him whilst he walked from the exit onto the bus. First aid staff and production crew were held back and a Stop/ Go traffic service was added to avoid any kind of vehicle to avoid any kind of interference.

A few hours earlier we crossed paths with the star, as we had been waiting outside the gent’s loo because the convienice had been closed off thanks to Slim Shady needing a toilet break.

When we spotted him coming out of the little boys room Eminem was wearing a black tracksuit, his head virtually hidden underneath his hoodie.

Tensions must have been high if the rumours were true as to why the star was nearly an hour late on stage. Could it had been the reported lost of luggage or a diva strop in regards to walking to the stage?

Whatever the real reason was behind Saturday's night fiasco it does beg the question...Should stars really be allowed to act like spoilt brats? Email us with your thoughts.
