HOME HELP Gerry Robinson lends a hand to the needy . Published: 3rd December 2009 Businessman Gerry Robinson is all too well aware of the heartbreak dementia can cause to family life. His father was a sufferer of the cognitive disorder. This may explain why Gerry has risen to the challenge to improve the facities of a care home which caters for those who have the illness. In this three part series Robinson tries to ensure more training is given to the nurses, the living area is furnished to a substantial standard and the residents are given more care and attention making sure they stay alive. Strategist’s show that within the next twenty years one million of us will suffer from dementia. The good news is that if you are one of them, you probably won't have a bloody clue that you have it!
