DENZEL HAS A PARTY

We are sure that we have been here before. Yes, we are damn right. Tonight we are at a swish restaurant nested in the depths of Chelsea and memories come flooding back from years ago when we covered the launch of the UK Sports Illustrated magazine. Everything is so familiar, the seats downstairs, the wide bar, a gathering of people holding champagne glasses it's as if we have just had a case of Deja Vu!!

You probably saw that link coming a mile off, didn't ya? In the midst of your annual Christmas movies involving tap dancing penguins and Cameron Diaz losing her heart over the festive season Denzel Washington has given us lads an escape hatch and released his next action packed movie. Denz plays Doug Carlin, an ATF agent who is called in to investigate a bomb explosion on a New Orleans Ferry. The mission becomes complex when Denz has deju vu messages, not from the past, but from the future. If you are still confused go and pick up a copy of Empire magazine as we are a bit in the dark ourselves.

Denzel not only attended the small premiere in Kensington earlier in the evening, but also darted off to the Beeb so he could be grilled by Jonathan Ross. It wasn't until about 10pm until he eventually arrived at the party and was ushered upstairs into the VIP area where he settled down with a few cast friends before moving to the far side to have a second chat with a few more mates.

Canapés were dished out for the first hour with the normal chickens and sausages which we have become customized to and with Clinque sponsoring the party guests left with a complementary box of aftershave - That's Dad's Xmas present sorted then!
