Last night record company representatives, members of the Brit School, the UK press and loads of hanger-on's gathered around Fearne Cotton to hear who had made the short list for this year’s thirtieth anniversary of The Brit Awards. The ceremony itself takes place at Earls Court on 16th February and to celebrate ABLE2 has a few things in the pipeline. To start things rolling we should copy every other entertainment website this morning and print the list of nominees which were announced on Monday evening. As for the party itself, well to be honest it was a swanky TV recording with live performances from La Roux, Pixie Lott and the hotly-tipped breakthrough artist for 201, Ellie Goulding. You may have caught it on ITV2 last night. Another Brit related broadcast will be shown on Saturday; BRITs Hits 30 celebrates the past three decades of the prestigious award ceremony.
