GOOD ATTITUDE. Attitude is Everything host a special stage at Glastonbury - Again! Published: 24th June 2010 Right, we gotta be quick typing this article for the simple fact that nesting beside our feet at the moment is a 2-man tent, clothes for summer sun, blizzard hurricanes and substantial shoes for horrific mud baths. Yes, you've guessed it ABLE2 us about to make its pilgrim annual journey to the greatest festival on earth - Glastonbury. Despite Bono breaking his back the likes of Gorillaz, Muse and Stevie Wonder are just a tiny, weenie proportion of this weekend’s line-up. There are 1,997 more other bands to choose from until Monday morning making a whopping total of 2,000 bands, No, make that 2001 as Biffy Clyo have just confirmed a secret set at the Park Stage this Saturday at 6.40pm. One of the many stages you may come across this weekend could well be The Hub, situated in the bewildering surroundings of Shang La. Saturday afternoon sees the disabled charity, Attitude Is Everything taking over the reins showcasing some of the most talented new bands this side of Crippletown. ( Don't bother to Google Erath that, as we have just made the location up!) The stage itself will have a decent accessible loo, a pretty bloody good viewing area and one of those sign language interrupters you normally spot on the Hollyoaks Sunday Omnibus when you are nursing your weekend hangovers. As you can see from their snazzy logo on the right, they have even included the bands and times, saving us a job! - Cheers guys. Anyway we have to get a move on and you can catch our review of disabled access from Glasto this Tuesday (29th June). See you in the Healing Field as we hope to give a New Age Hippy a run for their money when we ask them to cure our cerebral palsy! |
