STORY: BRITISH WHEELCHAIR POOLPLAYERS ASSOCIATION
RIGHT ON QUE!

There's two things which make a good pub. One is of course the alcohol, I mean, lets face it, where would we be without it? George Best's private health care centre would be skint, Chris Evans would probably still be waking us up in the mornings and we wouldn't be writing this report with a splitting hangover! The second thing which makes a good pub is a pool table. The opportunity to have a few minutes male bonding over a few colored balls and two wooden sticks. Pool tables can be a bloody nightmare for wheelchair users though, although any budding Hurricane Higgins reading this and fancy entering a pretty damn good pool tournament then read on..

The Wheelchair 9 Ball Pool Tour is 'wheeling' in to Leicester this month and the organisers are looking for anybody who feel they are good enough to pot a few balls over the weekend falling on the 13th & 14th of November. To twist your arm even more they are tempting you with a £140 cash prize under your noses. The prize is based on 16 players taking part and all the cash taken from the entry fees will be equaled out to the prize winners.

Talking about the entry fee it will cost you £30 to enter, although if you are a BWPPA (British Wheelchair PoolPlayers Association) you can knock a tenner off that and play for just £20.

So you think you are up for the challenge and have a collared shirt, pair of dark trousers and black shoes - sorry no jeans or T Shirts are allowed. Then make your way to the address below on Saturday 13th November before 11am. Good Luck!
