A ?Mobility 4 All? scheme is being organised by Ford manufacturers to make their cars more suitable for drivers with disabilities. Led by engineer Dr. Andrew Paton a group of Ford workers from all over Europe who have various disabilities will test out a range of Ford vehicles and be able to design new models to adapt to their requirements. Speaking at a recent conference Paton said, Our major concerns are with getting in and out of the vehicle
and stowage Hopefully more car manufacturers will follow and within a few years all cars will be accessible for anyone wishing to drive.
